I have seen several forums telling instructions to program key fobs for g35's, however it does not seem to work. I have put my key in at least 6 times in 10 seconds and I have done it slow and fast and my lights never flash twice like they say it is supposed to. I get in, lock my doors, put in key 6 or more times, nothing...no flashing. any ideas? I dont understand why it is not working. please help!

OK man here is the instruction should work just fine. Make sure you don't mix up the steps.

1.Sit in car and lock the doors(all of them)2.Insert the key into the ignition 6 times within 15 seconds(important to be in 15 seconds)3. lights(Hazard) should flash4.Put key back into the ignition & turn to Accessory5.Press the master door lock (on drivers door arm rest) unlock/lock6.Hit the lock button on the remote7.Hazards should flash8.Pull key out and open the drivers door and then close it 9.It should be set

Make sure you keep these steps and see the hazard light flashing.

I hope this works out great. It did work on my friends 04 G.

check the battery in the remote to make sure it is put in correctly.

after that try this, I just did it and it worked.

At first I just got in the car and did the steps, nothing happened. Then I put the key in the ignition with foot on brake and clutch pushed in. I turned the key on and then back off. removed the key, hit the door lock button again and then went through the steps and the hazards flashed immediately.

well, i have one good key fob right now, and I am trying to program my second, so I know the battery is good in the first one at least, so that shouldnt be an issue. i just tried your steps and still nothing. I dont get it. Did you keep your foot on the brake the whole time? or just till you locked the door? I tried both ways. And did you turn the key to "on" or "acc" and off while doing the brake thing. again, I tried both. Cannot get my lights to flash. very frustrating.

I left my foot on the brake and clutch pushed in during the entire process, to include when I turned key "on" and then back off, removed key, locked doors and then I went through the steps and it worked on the first try.

his problem is he can't get the lights to flash so he can continue with the process. I couldn't get those instructions to work either until I did what I wrote and then it worked perfectly. I tried to do my wifes spec V with those same instructions and it would never work either.

You have to take it to the dealer to reprogram it. I don't know if I would buy it from ebay. Most likely it is one of the keyfob from recall. Ask the seller if there is a small curcle at the back of the remote. That indicates if it is from the new generation.

Just an advice. Don't be affraid to open your own thread and ask help from people. If we can, we will help you or will direct you to the place where you can get some help.

well, thank you for the offer. I decided to stop by the nissan dealership today and talked to a guy there, and he came out and did it for me right away for free. I watched him, and he did the exact same thing, but no pedals at all, just the original instructions like I posted in my first posting.however, the one thing he did differently, was he took the key in and out very fast. the instructions i read said to take your time and dont rush it. He did it very quickly and the first time it didnt work, but he did it again and it worked fine. So i think my problem was that i was not doing it fast enough. i did it in under 10 seconds, but I guess it still needed to be faster. and he said it needed to be under 10 seconds, not 15 seconds like some people I have seen have said. thanks for your help! hope this helps someone else.

I just found this thread...

Is there a chance this will work for the 04 M45?

the key in the ignition thing has to be within like 10 seconds...

as for the 04 m45...i believe you can do it for the remote part of the key but to actually program the key since its part of the remote you would have to use the consult
