Last night I was talking to a friend of mine about upping the boost on my car. Since I'm still running the stock SMIC and T25, I only want to run 10-12psi. I had mentioned to him that I was looking at the Turbo XS dual stage MBC. He told me that I'd be stupid to get that, when he can get me a Profec-B for $250. So that leads me to ask you guys...

Is there any disadvantage to going with an electronic boost controller like the Profec-B, vs an MBC? I've been told that MBC's hold boost better. But my buddy who works at Road Race Engineering and does all sorts of DSM tuning, told me the Profec-B holds boost just fine. They are using one on the 700+hp Eclipse that just took 2nd place in the SCC Street Car Challenge. So unless you guys have a bunch of whorer stories about the Profec-B sucking goatazz, I'll most likely go that route.
