Could every1 using the Greddy Profec B Spec 2 post ur gain % and other gain settings and the boost pressure that u get with these settings? Thanks. The reason i want these settings are to use some1 elses settings that are close to my goal of like 12 psi bc my boost will go up to 12 then drop to like 7~8 psi.

i have a few settings, one that goes up to 13 max and the otehr around 12 lbs. spent months fine tuning it. other friends have the spec two on their sr's but the same settings won't really work unless the upgrades are very close to each other.

I suggest making a chart with all the variables listed and see what combination works better. like a gain % with a variety of boost and start boost settings. once you have the boost setting to around 13lbs you can start fine tuning the start boost and gain by a little. if you raise the gain to much it'll boost over the preset 13 you had so you either have to lower the boost for the gain, or lower the gain for the boost.

try having the gain around 30%, and play with the boost and start boost settings. having them too close together might make it spike so have the percentage a little further from each other. i forgot but i think mine was around 68% or something and the start boost a little higher. when i get the exact #'s i'll try to post them. but just bc they work for my car doesn't mean it'll be the same for yours, the settings are different for every car.

hope that helps

If you're worrying about saving your turbo just turn it off and run stock. I know it sucks. But either you'll: a) save your $$$ for a new turbo or; b) risk turning up the boost on some tool at a light, killing your turbo and buying something cheap just to get by...

you guys run with some crazy numbers, it makes me wonder if you know what your setting. Theres 3 control settings. Set Boost, Gain, and Start Boost. Set Boost - increases boost. Gain - Stabilizes boost. Start Boost - holds the wastegate shut creating quicker spool. I dont use the Start Boost feature because it makes the turbo boost funny when trying to control boost with the throttle (road racing). Use the Set Boost feature first for the desired boost and use the Gain feature to stabilize if boost drops off at high rpm or creeps. With my T25, i had 15psi set up like Set Boost 50% and Gain 14-16%. With my 2871R, 15psi is Set Boost 40% and Gain 7-9%. Theres no need for the Gain to be up real high unless your trying to compensate for boosting problems.
