FBU: 4 6mm washers about 1mm each. Just stack 2 of them together and shim the wastegate off the housing about 2mm, then pull the actuator arm onto the flapper. Instant boost upgrade! I went from 9.5 pounds to almost 12 pounds for .29 cents. Worth while upgrade, highly recommended if you have a fuel pump and a front mount intercooler.

Redline MT90 transmission Fluid: My transmission was grinding a bit between upshifts. I was using Mobil 75w90, but that wasn't getting the job done. So I went to my local speed shop and got some Redline MT90. This stuff is like liquid gold for your transmission. Shifting is MUCH improved and overall harshness is gone from it. I love this crap even at 10 bucks a bottle. Highly recommended also!

I second that, shiming the wastegate is the a good upgrade (power VS. money). :D I use this method for a year now and i like the fact that this modification is nearly unseeable.

On my setup (stock T25, Saab IC, K&N, CA16DE intake cam, 2.5inch exhaust, no cat, stage1 chip and walbro pump) i run:0.8bar (11,6psi) without touching the wastegate0.9bar (13psi) with a 0.5mm washer set1.0bar (14,5psi) with 1,5mm washer set

Btw totally stock my car had 0.6bar, exhaust/filter gave an extra 0.1bar and the intercooler also.

My setup was stock T25, hardpipe intake arm to a cone filter, GReddy Hotpipe from an SR, GReddy VSPL from an SR, Heavy Throttle 3inch Downpipe, stock exhaust back, and a Walbro Fuel pump netted me 9.5 pounds.

When I was running no intercooler, I was at like 5.5. Then I put in an NPR that was super ghetto mounted, but the piping was straight out and straight in, and that yielded 8 pounds for me.

Now it is at about 11 pounds in a third gear romp, probably higher if I was in a lower gear. So.... 11 pounds is pretty cool for me for now.

Once the T28 is in hand.... bye bye T25.... spin it till it pukes!
