I saw a set on a white C7 with black wheels. Gave it a really cool "Hot Wheels" touch.

Probably no chrome in the works. We'll be doing a couple more test installs in the next couple months, just to get a better feel for the product line. If you don't mind the look of it, and you have expensive wheels, for the price, it's kind of a no-brainer.

Would I have to throw them away after changing tires/balancing?

As far as I can tell, these look like you can change tires and balance w/o messing with the product.

The Rimbands actually require the user to remove the tire to install them, as they tuck in near the bead. We'll be testing a set of those soon.

I saw A LOT of newer, likely leased luxury cars in the Garden District in New Orleans. Most of them had the upgraded stock wheels from BMW, Merc, Audi, etc or were the higher trim levels of the top models. A number of them also had some nasty curb rash which will likely hurt resale value or get them dinged when they turn the car back in. I'd try to sell those bad boys to dealerships directly to save the new owner the cost of a set of $2,000 wheels.
