photo post espeical!

DMAX light with no lights lit up. Ooo nice.

DMAX light with PIAA 194 bulb (non LED).

DMAX light with LED winker bulb provided by DMAX.

I am very satisfied with these.

I didn't include a photo of both lights on at the same time simply because my camera phone couldn't pick it up.

Enjoy.

edit: Here is a picture from DMAX

ok, so what?

Well, if you have a bumper that requires these lights. (kouki 180sx or several other aftermarket 180sx bumpers) then you know that these stock lights are just position lights. The turn signals are down lower in the openings. I HATED the stock kouki turn signals, so I sold them. This left me with no turn signal which I was not going to accept. DMAX came to the rescue and offered these dual socket lights. One is for the turn signal, one is for the position light.

Very cool little part.

Install is very simple. The position light is the same as the stock kouki one.The turn signal just needs to be spliced into the stock signal wiring.very very simple.

DMAX is indeed a great company and has some good quality products. I will definitely be picking up a pair of these for the Silvia bumper.

Good looking lights but to ask. Does your front bumper come off often? I just cant help but notice the sagging most likely due to your front mount / no bumper support. If its not often removed would you consider bracing that up?

I took it off once.I don't have a front mount intercooler (although I'd like to put one in there just for looks.)There is a bumper support. There is no bumper reinforcement.I half *** put the fenders and bumper on the car. Once my car is done, I'll post photos and it will look fine.

Nope.

I'd like to put one in there just for the looks, but I don't think I'll ever actually do it.

wow the PIAA lights look awsome. And those have to be the brightest 194 bulbs I ever seen.

could you not fit turn signals in the single hole one and just wire it up as such?

Whoring meaningless word posts != discussion/contribution/suggestions/relevant posts/etc...

Come on... that's stupid just trying to get a thread locked by stupidity as opposed to legitimate answers.

I wanted running lights or parking lights, whatever you call them, as well as turn signals.Stock type x turn signals are super lame.... so the next option is to hope for the position light to do double duty.

done and done.

I don't want running lights/daytime lights/position lights. Just turn signals out of them that's what I was getting at

Im actually glad this was brought back. I recetly got rid of my Silvia crap and opted to go with the 180 type x "aero" instead. I bought a Version:Select version VI front bumper from Touge Factory and I was thinking if I was gonna get the type x turn signals. I guess I'm just gonna go with these. Look great, cheap, dual function!! AND saves me about $100 from buying turn signals
