It happened.

Thought I'd make a real thread rather than just dumping in PMQ's "new car" thread.

Impressions so far:

-Getting more sleep than I expected
-I'm incredibly glad I'm not a woman. Delivery sucks.
-GT5 engine noises lull him into a contented sleep, while silence causes a tantrum. Definitely my boy.

Pretty rad. Highly recommended.

Will be teaching him to set fires, pick locks, mix drinks, and topple governments in a few weeks. Should be fun.

In Top Gear's Senna segment, he said that he started driving go-karts at age 4.

I was driving a go kart confidently at 8 possibly could of been highly competitive. I'm sure 5 year olds can topple that.

Congrats on the boy.

Whens the next?

Congrats brother! I would say if anything, get him doing math as quick as possible.. My brother did flash cards all the time as a youngin and can add/subtract much better in his head than I can... Might I mention that I was only like 2-3 classes away from getting a math degree in addition to an engineering degree?

Point is, whatever they learn early will stick with them a lot easier.

I remember my mom harassing me to read and learn English before I started kindergarten. I remember being a real d!ck about it, but it paid off.

As if, that's my ride.

I hope to build the boy a Honda Ape 50, if I can get one shipped over in parts. Still a few years off though, of course.

At the moment, I'm putting the finishing touches on my restoration of a 1970's Honda Kick-n-Go scooter, and then I'll start on a "shakotan" Radio Flyer.
