I'm planning on getting a turbo kit. I was just wondering if anyone has had any problems? Do you need to upgrade the Radiator, Fans, Oil Pan, or anything? If you have no problems what turbo and how many miles have you had it on for? Did anyone blow their engine or transmission on stock turbo specs?

Welcome to NICO!

FI systems generate more stress on an engine that could lead to failure. As a general rule-of-thumb, the 03-06 G's can take up to 400HP before bad things start to happen. With a twin turbo setup, you'll be close to this mark.

With a turbo, the most important thing to upgrade is an aftermarket exhaust. The turbo is a giant plug that the engine isn't used too...having a free flowing exhaust will help relieve some of the backpressure. 3" exhausts like Greddy will not only give you more power, but reduce strain on the engine.

The other items you mentioned will all help with cooling, which is also very important. If you go with a high boost app (twin turbo), you should plan on upgrading the cooling/oil systems. However, the most important thing to do is get a correct tune. That will keep your engine/trans safer than any other mod.

Do the research, check out previous posts and look at our FAQ (link in my sig) for more info.
