My tachometer spontaneously looses its reading. I'll be driving along and the tachometer will all the sudden drop to 0 then will start reading the rpms after a while. Has anyone had these kind of problems. Is this an electrical issue? Reason I ask is that I have had some electrical issues with the alarm going off at random and the climate control unit mode lights being intermittent and a climate mode door motor clicking contrinuously. All these problems started within the last 3 years. My car has never been in a wreck and is very well taken care of so I am surprised of these problems.

Thanks

Mine will on occasion jump from a normal reading to a ridiculously high reading. It sounds like a contact not working right. I personally have yet to track down the source of the problem.
