problems with sr20

I was driving down the road yesterday, and it started to run really lean. i tried to give it throttle, and it lagged for about a second or two, and would go a bit, and then the throttle wouldnt do anything. I shifted, and tried to give it gas again, and it would go. after a few seconds of acceleration, the throttle would die again. It did this for about half a mile, then the throttle wouldnt do anything at all. I parked it, turned it off, and came back probably 5 hours later. It started right up and drove about a mile, and the issue came back again. I have no idea whats going on.
