Problems with SR... A/F mix?

when i start my car with the hood up it runs and idles good, the problem... when i close the hood the idle dies down a bit... it almost stalls out but it keeps running very low rpm... --so do you guys think that an safc would fix the problem bc it is the air fuel mixture? or is it something else?

does your hood touch your air filter?

no... i took the air filter off an closed the hood and it still never changed, does the same thing

prolly crap on the little wire on the maf

spray it off with brakleen
