If a sensor is going bad, the computer should pick it up. You can have a bad sensor and still not have the check engine light come on, so you'll have to get the codes from the computer. If you go to the 240sx.org site, and go to the FAQ link. Scroll down to "ECM, reading trouble code DOHC". If you can, print all of that off and then just follow the steps. It can be kind of confusing, but read through it a few times and you'll get the hang of it. If you don't get any codes out of the computer, you're looking at some sort of mechanical problem. Make sure you've got good gad. Run some fuel sysytem cleaner through it. Change the fuel filter. Try that and let us know how it goes.
