Hey guys i just got my 240sx this sat, and when i was cleaning inside of the carpet, i saw that the shifter comes off the base. Is this normal. Also the shifter is not OEM, its an aftermarket one. Can anyone tell me by looking at the pics if its normal, or what i need to do to fix it.I have never seen any car do this, before also one of the small rubber boots was broken, could this be why the shifter comes off when i pull it?

Thanks for any help or tips in advance.SOrry if i didnt post the pics right, Damn!!! i hate been a newbie

Its an OBX shifter, you're missing the stock plastic retainer that goes over the ball of the shifter.

Whoever installed it, just a crappy job. Missing 2 screws too.
