i installed the boost controller like it says in the directions with to the wastegate and a pressure source. spliced into the FPR line for a source for the unit that mounts in the car. i know i have power because it turnes on and the controller is hooked up to the stepper motor.

does anyone else hace this electronic boost controller and are you having any problems with it. it is not increasing the boost, i can turn up the gain and hi boost and nothing will happen, and yes i set it on the hi boost function. if anyone else has this actually working on there sr please tell me the exact pressure source you put the stepper motor to. i just put it inline from the intake manifold to the wastegate. tell me if im a dumbass and im just doing this wrong.

are one of the ports on the boost controller solenoid capped off? if so, it needs to vent.

no, it is vented. do you know what port is suppose to go to what, i looked at some other solenoids from a profectb2 and it was different. what i mean is the lines where coming off different ports on the solenoid. i know it could be a different unit, but i didnt know. so if anyone has it hooked up, please tell me what the "COM" and "NO" ports are going to. thanks

"COM" should plug in directly to the actuator nipple and "NO" should plug into a boost source (nipple off of hot pipe or compressor housing on the turbo). Then leave "NC" vented and remember to cap off any other crap not used anymore (factory boost solenoids, nipple, etc) cuz you dont want a boost leak. It sounds like you connected the FPR vacuum line into the back of the Type S unit. Thats fine.

the boost selinoid or the actual in car unit must be faulty. i have everything hooked up properly and no vacuum leaks. i do have power to the unit, it seems to function properly by switching from low boost to high boost. i have double checked the conections and tot he selinoid.
