I also paid RHDJapan for some parts, and I've been waiting for 3 months now. What they told me was economy is really slow in Japan, so Nissan waits months to have good size orders to run a next batch. Who can blame them?
Fnck restock fees. Tell them you want a tracking number or you will be disputing the transaction with your credit card. They can't charge you a restock fee for something you never received.i4jdm wrote:guys i ordered a s14 jdm kouki bumper from nismoparts.com and the order was placed on 6/8/09 and its been like 3 months....any one ever deal with these people and is it normal for that kind of wait time....i have contacted them and they say they DONT know when its comin or WHERE its at......WTF........they say they can refund but i have to pay a restocking/processing fee......any one ever deal with these people
wow they said that is supposed to get to them in 4-8weeks and they didnt say anything about any free items....(i only asked for a nismo sticker )i4jdm wrote:well i just emailed NISMOPARTS.COM asking for some free nismo stickers and maybe an S14 "Silva" trunk emblem(black) for all my suffering (wat if they actually give me something....lol)
Well said.Armstec_S13 wrote:Be patient, parts coming from japan usually take about that time to come in, the restocking fee is usually charged because they already made the order, if you cancel the order it will still be shipped to the dealer no matter what, so they have to put it on the shelf dealer pays for the part and space for the part, thing is if they do say its in stock then why does it take so long? There is no tracking number because it wasn't sent yet, if you're buying it new they are still waiting for the manufacturer to fill the order, if they send just the bumper from japan they lose money for shipping one item when a whole order of things could have gone also, like I said if you order brand new parts prepare to have a good waiting time, people never get that especially that it has to pass customs and they can't open new packages like that (so I've been told) but used part see to get in faster because they can open to check those faster, hope this helps in any way.
