Can anyone help me figure out where this hose goes, or what it does or should go.

hmm. that hose I am not familiar with, did it look like it was a fresh cut there? Perhaps right behind it underneath that box looks like it has a nipple for a hose connection.. Take a closer look at that. And which nut did you loosen? the one on the purple item (aka the bov)? If that was loosened I don't think it will do a whole bunch of good. It'll probably just cause the BOV to open a little early and possibly leak losing boost. The knob to turn to reduce the boost would be the rusty one with the hex wrench pattern on the top of it right by the turbo on the fender itself.

edit: you should probably try to clean that black electrical tape off the front bumper a little better and re-spray it. and the trunk doesn't look that bad, just surfice rust that could be sanded off.. good deal there.

and if you get the chance, you'd probably want to move the MAF closer to the intake manifold and away from the turbo. I planned on doing that as one of the MANY things I wanted to work on but never had a chance to. GL with the car, glad it's running now hope you figure everything else out with relative ease.

i'm rocking the black p/s fender and bumper combo also. all you need now is a primed hood, primed trunk, black rear bumper, pink primer spots and no turbo. lol.

yeah i loosened the rusty hex nut. n im not sure how much looser i want it it might come off. as for the paint im actually going to get some real paint n a gun from one of my buddies n actually take time to respray it. it was late on friday and i was a little drunk by then (half a case later), now i see it was a bad idea to try to spray those parts at like 2am tired from being up at 430 and intoxicated .

ill take better pics n make an image of how the hoses run for more help. Oh and are you sure the seals are blown on the turbo? When i had that problem on the eclipse i had it spewed smoke out, i dont see any smoke when it runs. Or maybe im wrong on what the problem was because it was over 4 years ago.

Other then that i need to figure out why she keeps dying on me when she goes to idle. Its not like its an all the time thing, some times when i goto neutral and stop at a stop sign shell die, and other times she wont.

But as for now i gotta pay bills, DAMN THE RESPONSIBILITIES. I also need to find a reliable site that sells the nismo mounts for a fair price. Well until i can figure out what else to put until next time.

As far as the dying goes, my 91 used to do the exact same thing after searching for months to find the vacuum leak, I discovered my O2 sensor was the problem. You may want to give it a try. Worst thing that could happen is your car will get a little better mileage.

As far as the hose in the first picture I think that is supposed to go to the vacuum canister. There should have been a small hose and this hose that runs across the fan shroud to the canister. I may be wrong but you should definitely check it out. Do you even have a vacuum canister anymore?

Yeah i belive i do even though i dont know what it is. I do know there are two hoses that do run across the radiator. One around that size and a smaller one. ill take better pics tomarrow, and ill either make a diagram in paint or draw it of how everything is hooked up and run. there is another nipple thats basically right below that hose but it looks like it fits one of the smaller ones. its T'd off and one little hose runs into it at the bottom of the T and the right side is open, and the left side looks like it runs into the motor. sorry for the crappy description.

as for the O2 sensor i was thinking that along with the fuel pump and filter, from what i was told sicride never got around to upgradeing them i figure it wont hurt.

the fuel pump is a 255lph pump. I'd worry about that one that you have plugged now and where it connects. I know it had to connect somewhere before.

As for the stalling issue I'd still look for boost leaks or vacuum leaks before anything else. I always wanted to replace all the clamps on the intercooler piping with better clamps and rubbers. I don't think a fuel filter would cause that, but it should certainly be changed as regular maintenence and probably to a z32 filter. As for motor mounts, JGS man that's the way to go.

haha yeah maybe i should remember that. i gotta find the emails that you sent me and make a list of whats done to it. i just tightend down all the hose clamps. gonna go take it for a drive around n see what happends. in the mean time im still trying to figure out the best way to make this hose diagram there are sooo many hoses running every wich way and back again.
