I cant get it to idle right

I have removed the upper and lower plenum and replaced both gasketsRemoved the EGR Vavle and the Butterfly valves. Both Blocked offRemoved the lines that ran down the middle of the manifold. All are capped offRemoved the B.P.T ValveRemoved Pressure regulator control solenoid valve and SCV control solenoid valveRemoved A.I.V CaseReplaced MAFReplaced Distributor with a New cap and rotor and wiresReplaced I.A.A ValveNew o2 sensorRelocated the battery to the trunk

There was a lot of resistance in the fuel pump assemble i redid the wires and now its fine, it wont start. I then replaced the distributor.

Now here is the problem its hard to get the car started. I have warm up the engine before the car will stay on, but it floats around to much :/ I think that the Air Regulator valve is bad.

Also i took the car to a shop a month ago and they sprayed carb cleaner every where, i had painted everything and the ruined all that....

They also sprayed carb cleaner in the intake =\

How can i test the air regulator and see if it functions? Also anyone else know what might be wrong?

Maybe that's why you have a whack idle? You require some vacuum lines to be hooked up in order for a smooth idle.

that's not true, as long and there is no air in my vacuum lines there shouldn't be a problem.

Does anyone know how i can test the air regulator valve to see if its operating correctly?

yeah i think my problem is more work than that

i believe that the timing w/ the oil pump is off which is causing the timing with distributor to be off also.

and i think i have a leaky fuel injector so i need to replace o-rings...

i wish i knew how to do this on my own.. i want my car fixed!!

why did you remove all that and leave the charcoal canister of all things?

Do you have a pic of your intake mani?
