Problems with my 25. Kinda Strange

Ok so I finished my swap some time ago. Anyways this problem started about a month ago. s13 with a rb25det

I start the car at the beginning of the day and it runs perfect till I turn it off. If I let it sit anywhere from a minute to a few hours, when I restart it It runs rough and and puts out some smoke if I give it throttle. This lasts for about five minutes. and if I give it throttle, the revs drop to almost nothing and even dies sometimes.

possibly seals on turbo r done, mine are and car does same cuz im dumpin oil, check the ic piping for ne, and clean maf.

maybe your idle air control valve unit have problems after it's warmed up

clean your MAF and make sure the temp input to the ECU is there and working.

What color smoke? makes a BIG difference. is it blue smoke indicating burning oil, white smoke indicating burning coolant or black smoke indicating rich mixture?

This kind of info makes a HUGE difference in diagnosing a problem.

It seems Black but it might be a mix of black and blue. pretty sure rich though, what is the cause?

Valve seals most likely.

my valve seals were bad and mine never smoked on startup. Normally when you rev it and then on deceleration it started to let off blue smoke, everytime you rev up and drop the throttle and revs die down it sucks oil pass those seals so normally people were telling me everytime i decelerate my car smokes.

Could be the turbo also...blowing oil past the compressor seal.
