I have a knock in my motor also i have a hesitation at about 3000rpm and it is pissing me off

Where is the knock comming from? Does it hesitate at 3k rpm while full throttle? Half throttle? partial throttle??? When's the last time you did a tune up? What gap are your plugs at? ETC.
