i have a 1992 240sx. i has not ran in nearly two years, but the other day me and a friend finnaly found the problem. whoever owned the car b4 i did had spliced the coil wire to hook up a relay for a flamethrower kit. thats what killed my car. we fixed that problem and it was running ok. it had a little miss while ideling however, but the other night when i was driving to work the car just died like i turned the switch off. it got down o about 20 mph and i got it to start again. i made it to work but it died when i pulled in the parking lot. i finnaly got it to crank back but i just left it there and came back to get it the next day. it cranked fine, but as i was on the way home it died just like i had turned the switch off and this time i couldnt get it to crank back. dad pulled it home for me and that night it cranked fine again. for the past two days i have started it and when the engine gets warmed up it dies just as if i had turned the switch off. if i let it sit a little while it will crank and run till it gets hat and do the same thing. has anyone had the same problem? i think it might be the coil or the ignition module but im not for sure could someone please help.
