problems with interior lights

when i turn the headlights on my climate control, hazard, and rear defogr dont light up, anyone know what lights bulbs i would need to replace and where i can also purchase them.thanks for your help.

oh btw, its for a 1997 I30.

First, check your fuses to make sure one hasn't blown. As for bulb size, you got me...maybe Audtatious can help out on that.

As for how to replace them, here are a couple of links describing how to convert the existing bulbs to LED's. This will at least give you an idea on how to dissasemble the components.Climate ControlHazard/Defroster

that was actually the first thing i had checked and the fuse is fine. thanks anyway...the links were helpful but im going to be able to replace them with LEDs..ill prolly just mess something up

The links were merely to give you an example of how to break the components down. There are factory bulb replacements available, I just don't know the bulb #'s off hand. If you take a factory bulb in to an auto parts store, I'm sure they could match it up for you.

i would have done that, but im not sure i can take the dash apart without messing something up.
