Last night I installed the injen kit and everything went great throughout the entire install. For someone that doesn't know anything about cars, it was relatively easy.

1. The sensor does not sit flush so I had to use electrical tape to cover the open gap so no unfiltered air gets through. The sensor also doesn't stick through all the way, could this be a problem?2. The air bag light comes on when I start the car, but then turn off within a few seconds. Why does this happen and how can I fix it?3. The intake pipe gets really really hot, is this normal?4. Where is this resonator cap that everyone keep saying to take off?

i don't have the injen intake so i don't know the answers to the other three questions, but i think common sense will tell you that your new intake will get a lot hotter than your old one, considering that the injen is made of metal, and the factory intake is made of plastic. Metal is a conductor and plastic is an insulator, hence metal-hot plastic-not

Ash,

Do you mean the MAF sensor? If for some reason you have to use tape, don't use electrical! Use duct tape. You should be able to make it work though w/o tape. Can you elaborate on this? Electrical tape is not very strong and you don't want to take the chance that it could get sucked into the intake.

electrical tape also doesnt withstand heat very well...its melts.

yes it will be hotter.

the temp sensor is fine..as long as its near where the air will be entering the filter your fine..i used to just have mine ziptied right on the air filter.

your air bag light is suppose to come on when you start the car that is ok now if the airbag light comes on and stays on your car thinks there is something wrong with the airbag and you need to get it checked

I dont have an S14 but I do know that when I had a Civic and been in other cars it comes on as part of the cars startup sequence. As part of the Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) It will come on for a few seconds as the ECM checks to make sure the bits and pieces of the car are in place and running properly.

In short its normal for it to be on for like 5 sec or so. If its on longer then im not sure.
