Ok, I have a nissan 240sx with the jdm black top. some one before me swaped engines

When you start the car, it turns over and then idles for about ten seconds, and then dies like its ran out of gas.

When you unplug the mass air flow sensor, it idles for as long as you let it. but wont accelerate
I've replaced the MAF and still the same stalling issue. with the stock sentra MAF, not the 52f00 that it needs, but i read in a forum and a part number cross reference that it works with jdm.

Nothing wrong with the fuel pump. I'm just at a loss of WTF is wrong with this car. Any help? Any Ideas?

What ECU do You have?
Do You have original 52f00 MAF for your jdm black top?
I have similar problem with my engine (jdm red top). I bought it without MAF, so I got MAF from s14 SR20DET. My engine idles only for about 5 sec and then dies. I have read that if I have red top loom and ECU, I MUST have original MAF form 180SX. Maybe You have the same problem.

I do have the original MAF , and I'm having this problem with the 52f00 and the MAF of a stock nissan 92 sentra. The problem is, if the 52f00 MAF is bad, I can not find a replacement

I also am not sure of what ECU I have. It's at the shop right now, so I cannot look. I didn't do the swap, it was done prior to me buying this car
