Problems with crank pulley install. What is going on? Pics.

Something weird is going on when i try to install my crank pulley..Its like the crank is too long for the key guide. As soon as i push the pulley on, it moves the key back and does not line up correct. Let me know what you guys think.(and yes i do know i dont have my front main installed, im still waiting on it to be shipped, just trying to figure out this problem in the mean time)

I think I remember the one for the oil pump being larger. It's possible that you switched them.

EDIT: Just saw your other post about finding a key, where did you get this one from?

I'm guessing here, but I think the OP just bought a generic key and it's too big.
