Problems with Compact Flash (CF) songs missing

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

I was reading on another thread that there is a limit for the amount of music you can put on a cf card, however i no one seems to know exactly what that limit is.

My problem is that i made a playlist consisting of 16 folders, which all appear on the system, and a total of 489 tracks, nos here's where it gets tricky, some songs dont appear on the system, however when i check on the computer they are on the cf card but the car doesnt recognize them, i tried changing the file name and still the same songs are missing.

I also removed a folder just in case i had too many files, but still.

Does anyone have a solution for this?

I've said in various threads that the limit is advertised on p.4-48 of the EX35 Owner's Manual (at least it's in my manual). Look in the table across the row entitled "Folder levels".

Notice that the limits are different for cars with and without Navigation, but both have a limit of 255 files per folder.
