it doesn't have to break to cause problems. Crank pulleys are precision things, machined to be completely balanced. a cracked one won't be balanced, with the stress of a belt on it, you can be sure it will just open more and more. Just put the stock one back on. You should contact asp for a replacement. it won't cause damage if it breaks, but you'd be stuck where ever you are. Driving 60-70Mph on the highway and having the crank pulley break is not cool, you can cause an accident because you don't know how to manage the car without power steering (and don't say it's easy) and your brakes don't work.You'd be alot more poor then without a car to drive and someone's bill to pay.
