So I just picked up a used set of Apexi N1 Pro Coiovers for the s13 and am having problems with the rear suspension. I'm lost as of how the dampening is adjusted for the rears. (I know there's dials on the bottom of the front 2 coilovers) One rear side is way stiffer than the other so I'm trying to adjust it. I am guessing it's the allen wrench portion on the top but it's spinning the shaft when I turn it. I tried to look up the manual on the Apexi website but none was available in US or Japanese.

So I know it should be common knowledge with these but I'm a little lost at the moment. I'm thinking it may be easier to adjust when it's installed, but just worrying that I got a broken set at the moment. Oh yeah...it's like my first post in the suspension forums so don't be too hard on me...please??? Thanks.

of course if you spin the adjustment dial, the shock body will spin with it if it isn't mounted or if there is no resistance to hold it (aka installed).

Generally speaking, the settings should be set by clicks. Don't over click it or force it. If it doesn't click anymore, its probably at its end. Counter clockwise = softer, clockwise = harder.
