Problems with 93 J30 Turn Signals

I have a 1993 J30t and am having problems with the turn signals. They do not work when invoked from the turn signal switch nor do the hazard lights come on. I have checked fuses and it doesnt appear to be that. I called the dealer and they said there is no relay for the turn signals. When I press the button for the hazard lights I hear a clicking coming from the steering column so I thought it might be something inside of there. If anyone can provide me with some insight, it would be great. Thanks in advance.

I've not heard of this problem before. Do you have your service manual? There are detailed wiring diagrams that might help you if you can read them. (Sorry this couldn't be a better response.)

Never experienced this but in my older american cars it was the turn signal relay under the dash. Check your manual and see at the back of the book ther is a section that shows location of relays

I will check later when I get access to my manual

The turn signal and emergency flashers should work off the same relay
