Hello yall! Bought a g37 a few months ago and it's trippin. When I switch gears from 2nd to 3rd under 3000 rpm it feels like the stick is getting pushed back out, but this doesn't happen when I switch gears 3000 and up. When I rev lightly, up to 3g rpm, and when it goes back down it sounds like the motor is about to shut off, like the sound it makes most of the time before it shuts off. Also my passenger seat heater doesn't work.

Sounds like it's your first stick.

The G's shifter is characterized as notchy so that's the feeling you're getting. Unless you're not disengaging the clutch properly and you feel a lot of vibration in the stick and hear a loud crunch. That's a whole different larger problem. Also, why are you slowing revving all the way to 3k then letting it go all the way down? Just seems like a strange thing to do unless you're going up a 40% incline then coasting down; but then it shouldn't want to stall out then. That noise you hear when you let the revs come down, is your car about to stall out. You do know that manuals cut off if you're in gear and you come to a stand sill..... ?

Btw, the search function in any forum is your friend.
