Yesterday I let my girlfriend take my car to school (never will happen again) and somehow when she put her book bags into the passenger seat she knocked in clock. She tried to somehow fix it but ended up punching it in all the way and the cd player stopped working. The complete left side doesn't work. The volume knob, power on, load and buttons 1, 2 and 3 aren't responding. On the right side buttons 4, 5 and 6 are responding but all I get is eject on the screen and nothing happens.
I read on another thread how to remove the interior trim to the M35 and was able to get to the clock and push it back in (which looks like Wolverine went to work on it. Probably tried to use her keys to grab the clock), put all the pieces back into place. The clock is fine but the cd player is still not working.
I went back in and saw a cord that was attached to the right side dangling. On the left side it looked just like the same set up on the right side so I assumed the other end went to the right side. After attaching it I could see how the clock being punched out could have knocked the cable out of place because it lines up right behind the clock.
My cd player isn't responding and is still reading eject and the right side is still not responding neither.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
