problems

anyone had any problems with their ka24e blowing. it seems as though i blew my motor the other day. stock engine except exhaust for the sound because the guy i bought it off of made it into a ricer show car, but thats besides the point. i have been ragging the piss out of it since i got it in october ... within reason ...and the day before yesterday the started this loud knock, drove it for another day to get some people to listen to it to diagnos it and while on my way to work ...while babying it by going the speed limit or under... i heard something snap, the knocking got worse and started shaking, i pull into work stop and it dies...automatic by the way... it wouldnt start for about the first 10 tries and after a few hours we tried again and it started only to run for a minute or so only to shut off. im thinking its time for that engine swap i cant afford.

Sounds like you spun a rod bearing or broke a piston ring or ring land. Either one of these would fit your problem but one is way worse than the other, Im sure you can figure out what I mean.
