Problems Starting.

Hey guys, I recently bought a 1990 240sx 5 spd fastback. It started but had problems but tht is none of my concern at this time. I will explain; well i got it towed simply b/c it overheated a little but I just wanted it for a project so no biggy. Well it had a bad battery so whenever I went to see it at my nissan dealership i worked at i put the battery in and it started fine. I let it run for a minute and then cut it off. Later on, around 2 1/2 hours after I went out to start it in order to bring it in to work on it. Try.....no start, it turns over but it sounds like after that its not happening. My friends that work their are of course Nissan Tech's and have been testing this car nonstop. I replaced the ignition coil, the spark plugs are new, and all fuses are operational. Like I said it started fine before and all of a sudden it took a huge dump........ now its only turning over and I cant get it to fire. Any ideas would be much appreciated b/c we are running out of ideas.

You need 3 basic things for combustion: air fuel spark

Im pretty sure the Nissan techs helping you are looking into these things as we speak. Sounds like you bought a car with one too many problems. But if it started at one time, that's a good sign.

I did reall buy a car with quite a few problems, but my intention is to get an SR20det in it anyways. So its no problem but I just would have liked starting to practice drifting on the stock KA motor. even though its an SOHC

if you just replaced the plugs, recheck plug wire routing??? <shrugs>
