When I let go of RPM too high while driving, the car sometimes stalls and dies. This is probably because of my atmospheric BOV. Oh yeah, motor makes loud ticking noises too, must be my lifters.

Problem: When my car gets really hot, after driving for a bit, if the car dies I won't be able to start it again. No crank, no click, no nothing; except power still works. I found out that if I hold the key into the ON position, and keep pumping the clutch, it will then start. Any ideas on what the problem may be???

Check your battery terminals I doubt pumping the clutch pedal has any thing to do with it.Probably just a coincedence. I have the same problem.

Hmmm.. never though about the battery terminals. I'll look into that. It's weird because If I just hold the cluth down while holding the key in the ON position, it doesn't do anything. If I pump the clutch a couple of times while holding the key to ON, it turns on.... Maybe it is just a coincidence.

Any other thoughts?

Lol wtf... if it dies during rolling just put it in gear and let the clutch out. If you just sitting htere, it dies, and you leave it on and pump the clutch and it just turns over thats pretty f'ed up.

Clutch switch? Is that something that I can check?

If you look at the clutch pedal; when you press the clutch pedal in all the way it pushes a switch. It is a safety to not allow you to start the car with it in gear and the clutch out. Sometimes I have to press and release my clutch pedal several times so the switch will allow the car to start.

Now why that would work when the motor is cold and not when it is hot I don't know.

Hmmm.., that might be for me also. Is there anyway of fixing that? I don't notice it to be a problem when I first start the car. It usually starts up fine.

Example: On Sunday I drove the car for about 20 minutes. I arrived at my destination, was about to park, then car dies. It wouldn't start anymore. Some of my friends helped me park the car. Went inside for about 2 hours, came back out, still wouldn't start. I thought I was screwed. I held the key to the ON, pumped the clutch, and it started. Turned it off, tried it again, and had to do the same by pumping the clutch. Went home, turned it off, tried starting it, and had to pump clutch again. About 5 hours later, went to start car again, and it started up just fine. No problems.I don't know, seems weird to me.

Sortof sounds like a battery problem. Check your terminals and maybe have your battery checked.
