Hey Guys. I haven't posted in a while because i've been working alot and school is in full force but my car is having problems. I dont know what the deal is, but I got in my car monday morning to go to school and it didnt start. So right away i thought it was a dead battery. I didnt have toime to check anything out and ifrantically called friends to come pick my up for school. I got home, and checked out the lights, they didnt come on... hmmm, its not an old battery and i left no lights on, so i was a little perplexed. So i used my battery charger, charged it all night... battery is full, and yet it still wont start. Theres no sound when i try to start it, and the battery is fine. any ideas?

I'd redo all the battery cable connections, specifically the negative. I had this problem on my s13.

Try jump starting it. If that doesn't work test the starter. An easy way to test a starter is to find a piece of electrical wire laying around or something. Preferrably a small gauge jumper wire with alligator clips on both ends. Connect it directly to the positive batter terminal and connect the other end to the positive lead on the starter wiring. If it doesn't turn then it's your starter.

lolthe last two posts were on track. First off try and jump start it, if it works then it's battery or alternator. If it doesn't start, it's probably the starter, or grounds.

Something in your car could be draining the battery, even when the car is off. and it could be something other than a light left on.

Check your terminals. Even if you altenator was gone but juice was left in the battery you'd still be able to turn on your lights.

try jump starting it, or throwing in another battery just to check.
