my s14 is acting up... ok as i go through the gears my first gear is a powerful as ever, although my second is slightly weaker then normal and when i hit around 3500-4500 rpms my car starts to jolt, like.. hesitate-go-hesitate-go-hesitate-go.. then it does the same in 3rd gear. i have not tried the other gears for fear of really screwing something up so i have been driving her reallly easy lately. anyone have any idea what it could be?

try unplugging the cas sensor and the plug back in and give her a TRY

ka's dont have crank angle sensors. try cleaning your throttle body..but it sounds like fuel cut or maybe just your timing being off...check your fuel filter see if its clogged..check your injectors continuity and tps voltage and like i said timing.

Vaccum....check your brake master cylinder vaccum which goes to your intake.....If not could be fuel filter.Check your spark plugs as well.Go over the basics first, then report back.
