PROBLEMS can anyone HELP

i just took out my ka24 sohc so i can change my e.g.r vavle,e.g.r pipe and paint the engine bay everything went good till we put the engine back in i put everything back in place and we go to start it and it will no fire. checked the fireing order it's right,checked the coil its good,checked compression around 150 for all four it has fuel because the spark plugs were wet. And everytime we crank it it sounds like it is back fireing out the intake (bubble sound). remember we did not take off the vavle cover change belts,did not mess with the timing chain or anything like that just out and back in

Did you pull the distributor?

when we pulled the motor we did not mess with it. but when it would not start we checked it and it check's out fine

Check your airflow meter and the piping between it and the throttle body make sure it is not open anywhere along the way.
