OK, I had 2 bad coil packs, the little connector peice inside of the boot came out or something, but we replace #1 and #4, ran perfect, took it out for a spin, and no problems whatsoever. Later I take it out for about a 20 minute dirve, at a constant speed of about 65, and it starts to misfire again, and idle like it was on 4 cylinders again. It seems to do this only once the car warms up, I am beginning to think I might have a bad ignitor chip. I have been told if they get too hot they can make the car seem sluggish, so I put a small fan on it.

Does it seem like it would be something else? The only main thing different about this rb20 is that it has a Mines ECU, and moves like a bat out of hell, faster than all the other ones we have done, so I am not sure if the ECU might be giving it some trouble.

Anyone have any symptoms of this before?

Make sure your MAF is clean. If you have an oiled air filter(K&N) some of the oil may case your MAF to gunk up. I was having the same type of problems you were having. The car ran fine cold but once it warmed up it would begin to break up. We checked tps, coil packs, timing, and all sorts of other things and it ended up being a simple. Don't forget about the simple things.

CHECK YOUR COIL PACKS AGAIN.... MY BUDDIES CAR USED TO DO THIS. MAKE SURE ALL THE IGNITOR CHIP GROUNDS ARE GROUNDED PROPERLY, HE WAS MISSING ONE GROUND AND IT WOULD POP CYLINDERS 2 AND 4.

WHy? You don't need it, that's only to heat the sensor..

Yeah, if you have a Mines ECU with too much timing, then when it gets hot the knock sensors will pick up ping and retard the timing. You could check it out by throwing in a few cans of octane booster and seeing if you still have that problem.

BUY STRAIGHT TOLUENE NOT OCTANE BOOSTER. WITH STRAIGHT TOLUENE YOU CAN MAKE UPTO 116 EFFECTIVE OCTANE BEFORE BUILDING A TICKING TIME BOMB.
