The dealer has even put a new seat in it, but I still can't get comfortable. I seem to be leaning to the right all the time.
YES!!!!! After driving my V on a 36 hour journey, I found the seats to be very uncomfortable. After my first day of driving, my back was incredibly sore. The seats could definitely use more lumbar support. I had to stop off in Office Depot and pick up one of those lumbar supports for my seat. After I popped that in then every thing was OK with my back.
I also noticed that my driving foot would begin to fall asleep after about an hour or so of driving. I've done this trip 3 times before and never experienced any problems with my foot falling asleep. I would constantly have to take my foot off the gas, wiggle my toes, stretch my leg, then back on the gas. It's hard to get you foot lined up with the pedal. The side panel is so close to the gas pedal, it's hard to make that straight line with you foot, knee, and hip. I would constantly adjust my leg/hip/foot to try and get the most comfortable position, but I never could.
Hip pain is another thing. My hip on the driving side (right) would be sore by the end of the day. I've experienced this before in a Honda, but not in my truck.
These are things that I don't notice when taking trips around town. I don't use the lumbar support around town and I don't have problems with foot, leg, or feet. Before and after my trip, the V felt perfect and I don't have problems with comfort. But on this long journey, the problems popped up. I think these thing are so small that I don't notice them until they are exacerbated over 2500 miles. My wife didn't have any complaints about her seat, but then again she wasn't restricted to a driving position.
