my car was running strong pulled good through all gears but timing wasnt dead on.... so i decided to set it today... i drove the car to my buddys house bc i dont have a timing light and it ran real good like its been... so i set it 15 btdc just the way it says on the forum here and i lost alot of power..... my car wont rev past 4 grand in first and 3 in all of the other gears... it hardly goes now... the only thing we messes with is timing, i dont understand what it could be!?

mmm, this is sohc right? because dohc, is 20 degrees... make sure you disconnect the TPS sensor before you time it, and make sure it's idle is at 700 or it will be off.....

did you do whatever you have to do to tell the ECU that you're setting the timing? (probably disconnecting the TPS).
