Just got some 270cc injectors from deatschwerks, put them in lubing the orings with vaseline, went in with no problems, no leaks (on top anyhow). Changed the oil right after to make sure the oil was clean. The car runs smooth and smells clean, not rich or anything, no smoking. When I get in my car in the morning, and turn the key, it instantly fires up. Yet when I stop at the store or anywhere that Im out of the car for 3-10 minutes, when I try to turn it over, it takes about 5 seconds cranking with the throttle wide open to get it to start. When it does fire, there is no smoking, so I dont think an injector is leaking or stuck. But it runs lopey like its on 3 cylinders. I will be installing a pressure gauge to the rail inlet in a day or two to see if pressure is dropping. But it doesnt make sense it would sit all night and be fine, but freak out when left alone for a couple minutes. I have a new delphi pump (walbro in the box) I just purchased, and am thinking maybe coolant temp sensor. Any thoughts on this before I start throwing more parts on?

Sorry for the long post, Ive searched, read for about an hour and saw nothing really similar. Thanks

To see if any fuel gets past the upper rings on the injectors? No, but I will when I take my first break. thx

no hes thinking there might be a loose connection causing them to randomly not fire.thats what i would check too. make sure the injector harness is good, and make sure they are getting a good connection.

the most common problem is pin fit, make sure the terminal is tight not just the connector.
