I have a 90 240sx SOHC manual.A shop pulled out a digital gauge saying it work. (Gauge and wire harness)I removed the analog gauge and wire and replaced them with the digital. When the digital gauge was in the clock worked tack worked. The digital speedo did not work not even driving around for an hour on the highway. I tried the capacitor fix and nothing happened. So I swapped everything back over the analog gauge. Now I have problems. The clock on the gauge works only when the driver door is close and also my belts don't work. Also the dome light does not turn or anything. When I start the car front wiper wipe only one when the wiper controller is set to off. (The seat belts only work when the engine is running or key on Acc pull them back or to the front) Other than all that the car is still running strong.

Also, I did the capacitor replacement. zerothread/158878 (found on this page)

Check these two things:

Check all your fuses.......

Your analog cluster is shorted, bad diode in the back. Search the forum for repairs or get another cluster. Or you have a shorted wire in the cluster harness.

There is a ton of info in regards to HUD problems, the SEARCH button is your friend....good luck!

USed HUD clusters are unreliable, unless you buy the back module brand new from Nissan...
