Bubba, you are entititled to your opinion. But since I have driven both, I definintely feel the mustang is a more solidly built car.

If you're dead set on the Mustang, you should get one. Personally, I'm a little wary of late 80's through mid-90's Ford products since my experiences with them have been universally bad. As Mr1der said, at least the parts are cheap to replace.

For the record, I don't have anything against Domestics and can't wait to test drive the new Mustang. I just think Ford had some major problems for a while, which are hopefully all taken care of.

I'm leaning towards Dodge SRT-4 or 2005 Mustang GT as my next car, unless Mazda can give the Mazda 3 some testes or Nissan does some major work on the SE-R.

No problem. Good luck with it.

I'm not so sure I'm gonna sell my car. If it gets a new motor and not just the headgasket fixed I will keep it. I don't wanna deal with this problematic motor anymore. The shop said they were gonna try to get me a new motor under it's warranty if its at all possible.
