its possible the passeges are plugged up. or the VTC sprocket itself is leaking. not allowing pressure to build in it. Does the sproket rattle at idle?

the engine is silent, no rattling or any unusuall noises, is there a way of fixing that aproket, or should he replace it to a new one?

yeah we checked for the oil passages and they seem to be clear... can the pulley be dead or something?

If you have compressed air available and an air chuck with a rubber tip you can test the VTC by blowing air into the solonoid passage see if it turns. This is usually easier with the chain off but you can usually see some movement if you watch it carfully. It will take up any slack in the chain when you do it. If it does this chances are the sprocket and oil gallies to it are ok, that leaves you with the solonoid itself.

we've checked the solenoid, and tried to replace it with mine (who work's on my car...), and it didn't work.. so that's leave us with the sproket right?
