I dont know if you guys remember the thread i made a while back about infiniti dealership saying it will cost me $1200 plus labor to fix the mount struts that is making me hear those spring noises when i turn the wheel.

now, when I asked the dealership what is the worst that can happen if I dont get it done. they said worst case scenerio is that the wheel wont turn the way i want it to turn.

now, i know this is important but my schedule is tight and i'm contemplating if this mount strut is more important than another thing (non-auto related) i goto take care of.

now, i know not to trust these dealership because hey, maybe they're setting me up to fu*ck the car up real bad so I can bring it back to them in order for them to charge me even more than the original $1200+.

so what do you guys think??? is this extremely important?? i do plan on taking care of this but not until 10 days from now.. could something worst than what infiniti predicted go wrong if I dont get this fixed in time??? i dont wanna believe this dealership because its shameful how they're more than willing to ripp people off.

I dont consider this something that necessarily has to be dealer serviced. Look for a reputable luxury service shop or a performance shop that has experience with high end vehicles. Usually, they wont cost much more than the dealer (often a little less) and from my experiences are quite honest.
