Driving to work this morning and the ABS, Slip, and VDC off light came on.

Now the abs pump that self test when you turn the car on is now on even when the car is off. Im thinking that my battery is going to be dead when I go out to the car later to take it to the dealer.

What could this be from?

What should I do?

Oh and the car seems to drive fine .. It will let you spin the tires and it stops fine...

You could be low on brake fluid or your VDC system could have an issue - check the brake fluid first before bringing it to the dealer.

I forget what causes it, but when all three of those lights come on, its bad news bears. I think the ABS or VDC needs fixin'.

Ok so I just got back from the dealer!

First they were out of loaners

Second they were really busy (Good for the economy)

Ok so on my way their the thing stopped and the lights went off! Then I get their and explain it to the tech! Then they tell me that it is really strange and that they might not be able to duplicate it. Im like well I took a picture with my phone to prove the lights! he was like oh that is really good! I showed him and he noted it on the paperwork.

Im waiting on a call to see what that could be... he said that it was under warranty and not to be worried!

Glad it falls under warranty!!

BTW.. I find it weird that the tech thought it was a great idea that you took a picture of the lights (it was btw) and took note of it. I mean it's almost like he would he not have believed you if you didn't??

Jacko... I kid you not, I face palm it almost everyday when I read your posts...you are one of a kind buddy!

So they called me and said that my rotors are warped... but that isn't the problem... (dealers always trying to make money{just had them resurfaced 2 months ago and have had no hard stopping since then!}) Then they tried to sell me tires... (Have a set in the garage... putting them on next week!)

They are still looking for the problem!

I know. But sometimes, she might want that spanking a little to the right more then the left to get the real feel

If I remember right, its explained in the manual somewhere...I'll be bahck. <Arnold voice

Sorry, I lied. Maybe someone told me that at the dealership. Anywho, when those lights come on and stay on, it usually isn't good. But if they're off now, I would assume you should be ok for now. It's not the brakes or tires, it's probably electronic.
