Has anyone been having problems with the forum here? Yesterday I started having issues. Every time I go to a different page my web freezes up and I have to restart explorer. I haven't been having issues on any other sites. Anyone have any ideas?

Maybe IE is choking on a script or advertisement. Only solution is to try Chrome, Safari, Opera, Firefox, Seamonkey, Camino, Flock, or... you know... any of the other vastly superior browsers out there. :)

The college only has IE available and it takes about a solid minute for a Nico page to load, at home on firefox it's instantaneous

IE is not really meant to just browse the web, it has so many other functions that it was intended for.

It would be kind of like driving your kids to school in a dump truck. Sure, it can get you there and handle loads of stuff, but it won't get you there very fast, efficiently or look very good while doing it.

^ All that.

If you're gonna use IE, update to the newest version (or run it in Compatibility Mode).

I don't know ANY serious web person (developer, designer, forum owner, etc) that thinks IE is worth a damn.

Bill Gates can eat a whole bag of d!ck. :)

Bill Gates is supplying a product that can be produced as cheaply and efficiently as possible for his company while still being gobbled up by consumers. Sounds like a capitalist's wet dream to me. :) So long as companies keep supporting I.E. and only I.E., there's no reason to innovate. :)

I type this on my work computer running I.E. 7.0 (because my company's core business applications do not support any other browsers or versions.)

I just recently had issues with my Motorola xoom. Scrolling causes the whole screen to go blue like I clicked and highlighted everything. Trying to type in a thread results in the same problem, which hinders my ability to post.
