problem with stock turbo on sr20det redtop

ok so i recently picked up a 90 hatch 240 and had a sr20det put in. ran wonderful seems like there were no problems at all what so ever, recently during boost when the turbo is spooling there is a noise that doesn't seem normal coming from the turbo, sounds like the turbo is straining harder to spool or having trouble sounds kind of like a weird whining noise. any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Time to throw a t28 on it. Pretty sure the turbo is toast, man.

Check the flange for cracks or it could be the gasket it self. i had a problem similar to this and it turned out that there was only half a gasket left on the flange.i replaced it and it works fine now.
