Well ive had this problem for like a month now...thought i would have fixed it sooner but i cant find out whats wrong. My pop up lights are both stuck up. When i hit the switch i hear the relays clicking, i can lower them both manually, and i dont think the motors are blown. (2 motors blowing simultaniously?).......Just to give you guys some backround info...they always worked great until i took my steering column panels and stuff off to get my cluster out so i could replace the HUD. Even after i had everything apart it worked for a few days....then out of no where they stopped working. Anyone know what my problem could be? Also i have reinstalled all of my steering column panels yet so the dimmer switch for the dash is still uninstalled as well as the cruise control button...could that affect it?

who knows.....you might want to try it cause those wires could be depending on each other. (shurg shoulders)

i have a set you can buy for $100.00.

work perfect. got rid cause i got silvia front end.

I have the same problem and have no clue as to what it could be. I tried to replace the relays for the motors and that didnt help. I even tried to replace the switch which also didnt help. The only thing I didnt replace was the motors but I also didnt think that the motors could go both at the same time. My car is not running so it does not bother me now. I 'd like to know if anyone has tried anything that works.

no promises, but try this......take out the switch that controls the headlight motors independently and check out the wiring there. i know when i did the sleepy eye shenanigans, the switch failing stopped them from going down. worth a try.

im talking about this switch, if the wiring (i.e. the brown wire) is disconnected the headlights wont go down after you turn the lights off. my money is on the button, it sounds familiar. did you put a switch in between the brown wire? i had the ****ty switch i spliced in die and the lights didnt go down anymore, just replace the switch, or just touch the brown wires together again to find out if thats the problem.
