It smells badly like fuel sometimes and I don't make power after 4,000 rpm.

I looked up the smelling like fuel problem and everyone suggested it could be fuel filter or injectors. I don't believe it is my filter cause it hasn't clogged up and stalled out....

However, I'm thinking it could be my injectors cause my friend though it was the o-rings on the injectors were leaking, causing me to loose fuel pressure.

Now, I have a set of stock ka24de injectors that I had in my 96 s14 ka24de, before I turbo'd it.

Could I take the orings off those injectors and put them on the SOHC injectors and would this fix my problem?

Or should I instead get a ka24de fuel rail as well to make the ka24de injectors work in the ka24e engine. And doesn't anyone know if these are the same flowing injectors? Because if there bigger, wouldn't that mean I'd need a tune to make them flow correctly?

I don't know about BC but here in Las Vegas we can get an O ring set for the SOHC injectors for a few dollers. I think it was like $20 (at Pep Boys) for enough for all 4 injectors.

I would just rplace the O rings and stay stock.

I am 90% sure they are different injectors. I would check each fuel injectors resistance in ohms first. If any are faulty then I would replace the o rings. Its a pretty easy task. Shouldn't take more than 5 minutes per injector if you know what you're doing. I can elaborate on the process but I've only worked on a ka24de.

Any codes or anything coming through your check engine? Have you checked your fuel pump "gasket". This gasket is known to dry off thus causing a fuel smell in your car. I'd check that too. Its also a very easy task. You can use silicone to make a new gasket.

Good luck!
