My Mother in law has a 2001 Altima and the blower for the climate control only works on high. If you set it on 1, 2, or 3 nothing happens at all but 4 the highest setting works. Does anyone know what could be causing this?

the blower resistor is out. replace the part and you'll have all 4 settings again.

Thanks for all the help 180fan. I have one more question and I'm sorry for sounding stupid but it looks like the blower resistor is behind the dash. How do I get to it? Can I get to it by removing the glove box?
